Donations Are Critical

Atlantic Street Center relies in part on financial and in-kind donations to ensure that our programs and services remain flexible and responsive to the needs of the many children and families we serve. Because Atlantic Street Center is a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, your donation is tax-deductible. We will send you a receipt when we receive your gift.

Give a gift that can change a child's life!

All of our programs are, in part, funded with your donations. We use unrestricted donations where the need is the greatest. For example, your tax-deductible gift of:

  • $396.16 can provide a two-hour parenting class for up to 30 parents.
  • $240.05 can provide books and toys for one child in our Parent-Child Home Program for two years.
  • $142.40 can provide five days of Summer Academy for one student.
  • $98.26 can provide a one-hour counseling session for a child or family.
  • $72.92 can provide three hours of tutoring for one student.
  • $51.54 can provide a backpack full of school supplies for one child

    There are many ways to give to Atlantic Street Center. We welcome:

    • Cash donations
    • Stock and other assets
    • Bequests made through your will
    • Gifts designated to Atlantic Street Center through your annual workplace giving campaign
    • In-kind gifts that can be used in our programs (see below for details)
    • Automobiles

    You can even give to us when you shop! See below for details. 

    How to donate

    Cash Donations
    We accept cash, checks, and credit card donations (Visa and MasterCard). You may also pledge a certain amount over several months or years and pay your pledge monthly or quarterly. Please contact our Resource Development office at (206) 329-2050, ext 109 or ascinfo@atlanticstreet.org for more information.

    Donating On-Line
    For your convenience, you can make a secure on-line donation through Network for Good. You can use a credit or debit card, or have your donation deducted from your checking account. Click the link below to learn more.

    To make a donation by mail, simply download and print the Donation Form and mail it to:

    In-Kind Donations
    Atlantic Street Center welcomes donations of in-kind items that can be used in our programs (e.g., school supplies, books, arts and crafts supplies, etc). For a current list of in-kind needs, please contact us at (206) 329-2050, ext 124 or ascinfo@atlanticstreet.org.

    Donating Food, Clothing, Furniture & Other In-Kind Items
    There are many local organizations dedicated to providing basic needs such as food, clothing, and furniture for low-income families. Atlantic Street Center works through these organizations to obtain needed items for the families we serve. We ask that you donate food, clothing, furniture & similar items to organizations such as St. Francis House (206-621-0945) or The Sharehouse (206-767-5280 or www.thesharehouse.org).

    A Better Fundraiser is a 100% web-based fundraiser where all of the products are downloadable software. What does that mean for you and Atlantic Street Center?
