Volunteer

Each year, hundreds of individuals donate their time and talent to Atlantic Street Center. For some, it’s a long-term commitment. For others, it’s a day. Whatever the length of time, volunteers know that their contribution is time well spent, and we at Atlantic Street Center consider the gift to be priceless. Volunteers work directly with children, youth, and adults as tutors, teacher’s aides, project leaders, and activity chaperones, or help behind the scenes with special events and office work.
There are many ways to help, and we work with our volunteers to create an experience that draws upon each person’s unique talents and interests.
In 2009, 553 volunteers donated 12,163 hours of service.
