Counseling Services
Our participants face a wide variety of personal, emotional, and financial challenges. Because no one solution will work for everybody, we tailor our services to meet the needs of each family.
Our case managers work one-on-one with children and families to help them identify needs and create action plans for positive changes. When appropriate, Atlantic Street Center therapists provide mental health counseling for youth and their families who are dealing with difficult issues such as depression, divorce, trauma recovery, unstable life situations, domestic violence, loss, and abuse.
In addition, specialized programs such as Positive Alternatives for Youth and Seattle Team for Youth provide intensive services aimed at reducing illegal activities, increasing school attendance and academic success, and increasing life stability.
Together, case managers and therapists provide and coordinate a comprehensive set of services that helps each child and family face their challenges head-on.
