The mission of the Rainier Beach Family Center is to strengthen and empower the family and to help all children succeed. We help to do this by increasing family strength and self-sufficiency; promoting positive parent-child relationships; increasing family support; promoting positive school-home relationships; supporting positive child development; and providing classes and workshops.

The Rainier Beach Family Center offers the following classes, groups, and activities:

• Parent Education for parents of all ages
• Money Management
• Home buying
• Aerobics
• Support groups for teen parents, adult parents, & grandparents
• Girl Scouts
• Cultural and holiday celebrations
• CPR/First Aid
• Much more
